Corporate History of TAKEEI CORPORATION

1977

・Founded as Takeei Construction Co., Ltd. (renamed in 1988 as TAKEEI CORPORATION) in Yokohama City, Kanagawa

1984

・ Acquired Sanbu Construction Co., Ltd., which constructed the Narita Final Landfill. The landfill was closed in 1999.

1987

・ Initiated the operation of the Okido Final Landfill in Chiba city, Chiba.

1988

・ Changed its company name to TAKEEI CORPORATION.

1990

・ Acquired Yasutake Co., Ltd. to enhance collection and transportation services.

1991

・ Constructed the Komaoka Intermediate Treatment Facility in Yokohama city, Kanagawa. The facility was closed in 2006.

・ Constructed the Kawasaki Intermediate Treatment Facility in Kawasaki city, Kanagawa. The facility was transformed into the Shiohama Transporting Station in 2008.

1992

・ Constructed the Yotsukaido Recycling Center.

・ Constructed a new head office in Edogawa ward, Tokyo.

1998

・ Obtained the ISO9002 Certificate at the Kawasaki Intermediary Facility (the ISO9001 Certificate in 2003).

1999

・ Constructed the Shinonome Recycling Center in Koto ward, Tokyo. The center was closed in 2005.

2000

・ Constructed the Mizue Transportation Station in Kawasaki city, Kanagawa. The station was closed in 2006.

2003

・ Gypro Co., Ltd., a subsidiary established in 2002 to promote recycling of waste gypsum board, constructed the Yashio Recycling Center, in Yashio city, Saitama.

2005

・ Constructed Tokyo Eco-Town Facility of Recycle Peer Corporation in Ota ward, Tokyo, subsidized by the Ministry of the Environment and the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry. (Recycle Peer was established in 2003 and merged into Takeei Corporation in 2015.)

2006

・ Constructed the Kawasaki Recycling Center in Kawasaki city, Kanagawa.

・ Established Monzen Clean Park Co., Ltd. to prepare for the construction of control type landfill .

2007

・ Listed its shares on the Mothers Market of the Tokyo Stock Exchange on May 30, the date when Zero Emission of Waste is commemorated.

・ Invested in Green Arrows Holdings, Inc., which promotes the recycling of waste gypsum board.

2008

・Established Takeei Park Golf Management Co., Ltd., intending to reuse a landfill.

・ Acquired Ikeda Corporation Co., Ltd., processing concrete waste into renewed crushed rock and sand.

・ Moved its head office to Minato ward, Tokyo.

・ Acquired Kankyo Hozen Ltd. issuing certification for environmental impact analysis and measurement.

2009

・ Constructed the Narita Final Landfill in Narita city, Chiba.

・ Acquired Hokuriku Environmental Services Co., Ltd. operating a control type landfill and recycling plastic waste.

・ Commenced Takeei Eco Park Golf Okido, a reuse facility of the landfill , operated by Takeei Eco Park Golf Management Co., Ltd.

2010

・ Agreed on business and capital alliance with Daiseki Eco. Solution Co., Litd.

・ Agreed on business alliance with JFE Engineering Corporation and JFE Kankyo Corporation.

2011

・ Acquired Suwa Environmental Services Co., Ltd., renamed in 2015 as Shinshu Takeei Co., Ltd. , operating collection, transportation , intermediate treatment and recycling of industrial and general waste.

・ Acquired Noguchi Demolition Services, Ltd. through Suwa Environmental Services. Noguchi was merged into Suwa Environmental Services in 2012.

2012

・ Transferred to and listed on the first section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange.

・ Agreed on business and capital alliance with Earth-Appraisal Co., Ltd. operating environmental consulting business.

・ Agreed on business and capital alliance with Kumaken Kougyou Co., Ltd. engaged in manufacturing remediation agent for contaminated water and soil.

・ Acquired Hashimoto Construction, Ltd. producing renewed crushed rock and sand through Suwa Environmental Services Co., Ltd.

2013

・ Acquired Kanayama Metals Co., Ltd., recycling iron/steel and non-ferrous metal scrap.

・ Agreed on business alliance with Tsuneishi Camtechs Copopration.

・ Acquired Tohoku Koueki Recycling Technology Co., Ltd., recycling cinders, sludge, dust,mining waste etc. into renewed crushed rock and sand.

・ Agreed on business and capital alliance with Top Planning Japan Co., Ltd. engaged in removal of asbestos.

2014

・ Constructed Oppama Recycling Center of Green Arrows Kantou Co., Ltd. for recycling waste gypsum board, in Yokosuka City, Kanagawa Prefecture.

・ Constructed Takeei Solar Park Narita, a solar power generation facility, in Narita City, Chiba Prefecture operated by Takeei Energy & Park Co., Ltd. (This facility is the attempt of effectively utilizing a landfill. )

・ Acquired FUJI CAR MANUFACTURING Co., Ltd., developing, manufacturing and selling environmental plant and equipment.

・ Acuired FUJI Reverse Co., Ltd., operating recycling of unseasoned wood or turning the wood into fuel materials for renewable energy, mainly in Yamanashi Prefecture.

・ Agreed on business and capital alliance with Veolia Water Japan K.K., a subsidiary of Veolia Environment S.A. of France, to establish T. V. Energy Holdings, Inc. engaged in investing and operating renewable energy business and V. T. Energy Management Co., Ltd. engaged in operation and maintenance of biomass power generation.

2015

・ Merged with Recycle Peer Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Takeei.

・ Constructed Iwanuma Recycling Center operating the recycling of waste gypsum board through Green Arrows Tohoku Co., Ltd. established in 2014.

・ Acquired Equal Zero Inc. operating treatment of effluent and hazardous industrial waste.

・ Constructed Hirakawa Power Plant and initiated selling electricity through Tsugaru Bimass Power Generation Co., Ltd.

・ Tsugaru Apple Power.CO.,Ltd., a retail electricity supplier, initiated its operation, in Hirakawa city, Aomori.

2016

・ Established Tamura Biomass Power Generation Co., Ltd., preparing for woody biomass power generation.

・ Hanamaki Ginga Power CO., Ltd., a retail electricity supplier, initiated its operation, in Hanamaki city, Iwate.

・ Established Yokosuka Biomass Power Generation Co., Ltd. preparing for woody biomass power generation, in Yokosuka, Kanagawa.

2017

・ Acquired Akita Green Power Co., Ltd. preparing for woody biomass power generation, in Daisen city, Akita.

・ Hanamaki Biomass Chip Co., Ltd., producing fuels for woody biomass power, constructed a head office and a plant, and initiated its operation in Hanamaki city, Iwate.

・ Hanamaki Biomass Power Generation Co., Ltd. which was established in 2014 constructed Hanamaki Power Plant and initiated its operation in Hanamaki city, Iwate.
